I was hired as Art & Design Program director in 2020. Sadly once Covid eventually hit Taiwan, all schools were closed during lockdowns, and Skyrock ultimately had to stop operating in 2021.
Curriculum Design
My role was to introduce Art & Design into the STEM programme, developing it into a STEAM product. I was also responsible for the creative direction of Summer & Winter Camps, which were the main revenue stream for the company.
Steam Boxes
Skyrock developed and manufactured a series of Steam boxes, that contained learning materials, equipment & instructions to undertake project based learning at home. The production & distribution of these kind of learning materials became crucial when we had to pivot into an online product offering during Covid lockdowns.
Online lessons - Educational videos
When COVID 19 regulations closed all operations just as Summer Camp was about to start, we quickly had to move all of our teaching materials online. I wrote, directed & edited over 30 instructional videos that were used by our students stuck at home.
